In the provincial context, faced with the scale of the actions to be deployed to stimulate the local economy in times of pandemic, AQT participated in the 2021-2022 pre-budget consultations in collaboration with six other ecosystem organizations to strengthen our approach. In total, these are 8 recommendations that we jointly submitted.
Access to talent and the acceleration of the digital shift of the non-tech, reported in a recent survey of our members, were further submitted as specific recommendations to the AQT.
To finalize our public affairs update, we are very grateful for the efforts of the provincial government to bring together the main issues related to the digital sphere on one file. To this end, Mr. Éric Caire is now responsible for Access to Information and Protection of Personal Information. This responsibility is in addition to that of government digital transformation. The AQT reassured him about our collaboration on his new challenges.
