The state of tech SMEs during the pandemic (4-week cumulative)
Montreal, April 24, 2020 – Since the beginning of the crisis, AQT has been regularly surveying its members to stay in tune with their reality and guide both our services and government advocacy. To date, we have collected over 1,000 responses across our various surveys.
Key highlights include:

Recent adjustments to eligibility criteria for the wage subsidy and other government support programs appear to be easing liquidity concerns for many companies.

Since the start of the lockdown, 19% of businesses report that their operations remain unchanged.

75% of clients are postponing projects with no confirmed dates.

17% of businesses have had to implement temporary layoffs.
Thanks to these insights, AQT has been able to present concrete recommendations to government bodies and achieve tangible wins for the industry.
