Marc-André Drapeau heads the tactical security team at the Fonds de solidarité FTQ and is a specialist in strategic advice and support in information security. Over the past few years, he has organized numerous awareness-raising events, inter-company expert groups and established governance frameworks in the public and private sectors. Mr. Drapeau also participated in the establishment of defense mechanisms and supported business units in securing their information assets. Holder of a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and a Masters in Engineering, as well as several certifications in security, for the past 15 years he has been Lecturer in Information Security at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS ). Marc-André has a holistic approach to security and shares his passion with generosity. It takes pride in educating everyone about the importance of cybersecurity.

71% of Canadian organizations admitted to having experienced at least one cyberattack in the past year that affected their activities. Unfortunately, for SMEs, the majority of them victims of hacking go out of business in the months that follow. We are witnessing a paradigm shift in cybersecurity: it is time for “cyber resilience” as efforts focus on managing the crisis and reducing its impacts once the cyber attack has occurred.
