The techno sector plays a crucial role in the Quebec economy. Indeed, it stands out for its economic spinoffs, the quality of its jobs and its impact on other sectors. At AQT, we make our efforts to represent the interests of companies through concrete actions taken with government bodies.

Our public affairs committee has retained 3 pillars which guide our interventions:

1. Digital transformation thanks to Quebec solutions
2. The workforce crisis
3. The development of Quebec companies in digital technologies

Do you want to be involved and participate in the development of the next proposals? We are currently forming working groups by theme.

We would also like to inform you that the AQT has been invited by the National Assembly to comment on Bill 6, on November 25th . The project aims to create a new ministry with a budget of $ 4 billion will aim to bring together cutting-edge expertise in the fields of digital, cybersecurity and technological services.

Here are some highlights and issues surrounding the project:

• Create a secure digital identity;
• Protect citizens’ data;
• Ensure cohesion between IT projects across government;
• Adopt best practices in cybersecurity.
